I know how it feels to REALLY want to Stop Smoking
Smokers believe that their unconscious habit of having to smoke a cigarette after a meal, or upon waking up or after a stressful experience, is something that they need and something that they cannot change. This is not true. I used to be a really good smoker, I smoked between 15 and 25 cigarettes a day depending on my social activities and stress levels. Like all of us I knew deep down that smoking was not good for me. Every winter I suffered badly from bronchitis that would sometimes convert into pneumonia and I knew that smoking was hindering my ability to heal. After many different attempts to stop smoking (I tried sprays, gum, you name it), I eventually decided to go cold turkey. One Friday after work, I announced to my family that I would be staying in bed all weekend and that when I got up on Monday, I would be a NON smoker! And that’s exactly what I did … I bought myself a really fat book, a bag of baby carrots and a 5 litre bottle of spring water and I went to bed. I did get up on Monday a NON smoker and I’m proud to say that I have never smoked again. However, I wouldn’t wish the cravings and withdrawal that I experienced on anyone! I remember thinking that there HAS to be a better way to Stop Smoking???

How Quitting Smoking with Hypnosis works
We are able to achieve so much
more when we are relaxed and it’s the same
with Hypnosis. When we meet we will first chat about your smoking challenges and you will be encouraged to ask as many questions as you wish. I will give you suggestions to relax and you are free to accept or reject these suggestions. As all the suggestions I will ever give you are for your benefit, it is highly unlikely that you would choose to not accept them – can we ever relax enough?!?
When we relax deeply
our brainwaves slow down to an alpha state where our subconscious mind is more open to receiving and accepting suggestions, such as quitting smoking. We all experience this natural alpha state every day. It’s that floaty feeling just before we go to sleep or just before we are fully awake, like when we are daydreaming or fantasizing about our dream job or dream partner we wish to meet. I’m sure you can identify with that feeling when you are warm and snug, curled up reading a great book or totally engrossed in a gripping movie? You might even be amazed when you realize how much time has gone by without you even noticing? Hypnosis is a very effective tool used to access this totally naturally occurring state.
After your first consultation
